Local rules worth knowing
Warsaw Paid Parking Zone (SPPN) covers the city centre. The Clean Transport Zone (SCT) has applied since 1 July 2024 to Śródmieście and parts of neighbouring districts. Since 1 January 2026 petrol cars need at least Euro 3 and diesels Euro 5 (or a recent enough build year), with requirements tightening every two years. Current rules: um.warszawa.pl.
