Film kit = camera body + 3 lenses + 4 batteries + 2 cards + cage = one contract. You record each item with its serial number on the inventory check before handover and on return.
Customer review for high-value gear
For high-value gear (e.g. over EUR 10k) you set a review requirement: keep the customer's portfolio and documents on the record, and staff approve the customer before handover. Third-party KYC is on the roadmap.
High deposit and insurance as a line item
Hold a high deposit (e.g. EUR 5,000) through your own gateway and capture on damage – every charge in the Reservation Ledger. Add equipment insurance as a line item. Sync with AV marketplaces (ShareGrid, KitSplit) is on the roadmap.
