One timeline for the whole fleet
Double bookings happen when a notebook, a phone and a website each keep their own dates.
In OneRental. Bookings from the app, your website and the widgets land on one timeline, and an overlapping one cannot be saved.
- Each bar shows the real length, to the hour.
- Zoom from hours out to months.
A turnaround gap after every return
A car returned at 10:00 is not ready at 10:00: it needs a clean and a check.
In OneRental. You set one gap for the whole company, and nobody can start the next rental inside it.
Turnaround gap · Sun 10:00–11:00
- To start: an hour for cars, 4 hours for boats.
- On the schedule, a thin tail behind the bar.
Workshop visits and holds on the schedule
A car at the workshop is as unavailable as a car out with a customer.
In OneRental. A workshop stay holds the car like a booking and cannot land on days it is out with a customer.
Nobody can book this vehicle then. The schedule shows a grey “Service” bar.
The schedule is free then.
- A grey “Service” bar blocks new bookings.
- A car taken out of the fleet shows the same way.
A free car for the dates asked
A customer phones about a car from Friday to Sunday, and the answer is needed during the call.
In OneRental. “Find a free one” marks those dates on the timeline, dims the taken cars with the reason and puts “Book” beside the free ones.
When the previous customer is late
The booking waiting for that car gets a red outline, and the side panel lists the cars free for its dates.
- It runs the same check as the booking wizard.
- You see how many cars are free.
A breakdown mid-rental: swapping the car
When a car breaks down with the customer, the rental goes on in another car.
In OneRental. “Swap vehicle” moves a rental in progress to a free car: the price stays, and the broken one gets an incident report.
- A car booked for those dates is refused.
- The broken car takes no new bookings.
Calendar feeds (iCal) for your team and platforms
A calendar feed is a private address that Google Calendar, Outlook or Airbnb checks on its own schedule.
In OneRental. From the Growth plan, you create a feed for the company, a branch or one car: busy only for platforms, or staff details for your team.
When a booking shows up in the calendar
Usually within a few hours, sometimes a day or longer: each calendar and platform checks the address on its own schedule.
Anyone who has this address sees your customers’ names. Don’t paste it into a booking platform or share it outside your team.
- One-way and read-only.
- You can revoke a feed at any time.

Questions about the schedule
Only the first booking is saved. For the second, the car shows as booked, so they pick another car or other dates.
Yes. The booking site, the widgets and the app save bookings to the same schedule, so one slot never sells twice.
From 15 minutes to a day, or no gap. You set it once in Rental terms, and you start with your rental type’s default, such as an hour for cars.
A grey “Service” bar over the workshop days. Nobody can book the car then, in the app or on the website.
Yes, while the rental is in progress. You pick a free car and enter a reason: the price stays the same, and the released car gets an open incident report.
Yes, from the Growth plan, through a calendar feed (iCal). Each calendar refreshes it on its own schedule: usually within a few hours, sometimes a day or longer.
Yes: a “Busy only” feed for one car shows the platform the booked dates, with no customer details. It works one way, and the platform checks it usually every few hours, sometimes only once a day.
The schedule, the turnaround gap, workshop holds and “Find a free one” are on every plan from Starter. Calendar feeds (iCal) are from the Growth plan.
