Version 1.0 · in force from: 1 August 2026 · last updated: 2026-07-28
These Terms apply to people who use booking sites run on the OneRental system – who search for a vehicle or equipment, place a reservation and manage it online. If you are a rental company and you use the OneRental panel, the Terms of Service apply to you.
1. Who is who
1.1. The Rental Company – the business presenting its offer on the booking site. It is with the Rental Company that you enter into the rental agreement; it hands over the vehicle, collects the fees and the deposit, and handles complaints about the rental. You will find its identification details in the footer of the booking site and in the reservation confirmation.
1.2. OneRental – Digital Development, a sole trader business entered in CEIDG (the Polish register of sole traders), NIP PL6372208579, address: Leśna 1B, 32-310 Rodaki – the provider of the software on which the booking site runs. We make a technical tool available: the form, the availability calendar, the account and the notifications.
1.3. We are not a party to the rental agreement. We do not rent out vehicles, we do not set prices or rental terms, and we are not responsible for the condition of the vehicle, its handover and return, or for the performance of the agreement by the Rental Company. Nor are we an intermediary or an agent of the Rental Company.
2. Scope of OneRental's services
2.1. We make the following available to you free of charge: browsing the offer and availability, the reservation form, e-mail confirmations and reminders, viewing a reservation by its number and e-mail address, and – optionally – an account that lets you see your reservation history.
2.2. The contract for the provision of services by electronic means with us is concluded the moment you start using the booking site, and in the case of an account – the moment you create it. You can end it at any time by ceasing to use the site or by requesting deletion of your account (§ 5.3).
2.3. To use it you need a device with internet access, an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and a working e-mail address.
2.4. It is prohibited to supply unlawful content, to place reservations in bad faith (including fictitious or bulk reservations), to use automated tools to make reservations, and to disrupt the operation of the site.
3. Reservation and rental agreement
3.1. Completing and submitting the form is an offer or an order addressed to the Rental Company – depending on its settings. The rental agreement is concluded the moment the Rental Company confirms the reservation, on the terms set out in the confirmation.
3.2. The rental terms – including the amount and form of the deposit, the permitted mileage, the driver's age and driving experience, the required documents, the rules on travelling abroad, and the rules on cancellation and refund of fees – are set by the Rental Company. They are presented before you place a reservation and in the confirmation.
3.3. When you collect the vehicle, the Rental Company verifies the driver's identity and entitlement to drive. Giving false information may result in refusal to hand over the vehicle without a refund of the fees, in line with the Rental Company's terms.
3.4. You pay for the rental and the deposit when you collect the vehicle, directly to the Rental Company – an online reservation does not involve a payment and we do not charge you any fees. OneRental does not accept payments for the rental and is not their recipient.
3.5. You report changes and cancellations of a reservation through the link in the confirmation, the "My reservations" panel, or directly to the Rental Company. The financial consequences of a cancellation follow from the Rental Company's terms.
4. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
4.1. OneRental's services are free of charge for you, and you can request deletion of your account at any time – this involves no cost.
4.2. In relation to a vehicle rental agreement, the 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract does not apply if the agreement specifies a day or a period of performance of the service (Article 38(12) of the ustawa o prawach konsumenta, the Polish Consumer Rights Act – it covers, among other things, car rental). The conditions for cancelling are set by the Rental Company's cancellation policy, which may be more favourable.
5. Account
5.1. You create an account by giving your e-mail address and confirming it, or by signing in with a Google account. The account is personal; do not share your login details.
5.2. The account gives access to the history of reservations placed with the same e-mail address at a given Rental Company. Reservations placed as a guest may be linked to the account automatically at the first sign-in.
5.3. You request deletion of your account from the Rental Company or from us at privacy@onerental.app – we delete it without undue delay, no later than within 30 days of the request. Deleting the account does not delete the rental documentation that the Rental Company is required to keep; you apply to the Rental Company for deletion of the data from the rental itself.
6. Complaints
6.1. Complaints about the rental (the condition of the vehicle, settlement of the deposit, additional charges, customer service) go to the Rental Company, using the contact details from the reservation confirmation.
6.2. Complaints about the operation of the site (a form error, a missing notification, a problem with the account) can be reported to us at support@onerental.app. We reply within 14 days of receiving the report.
6.3. A consumer may use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and pursuing claims, in particular the support of the powiatowy (miejski) rzecznik konsumentów (the district or city consumer ombudsman), mediation at the Wojewódzki Inspektorat Inspekcji Handlowej (the voivodeship trade inspection authority) or a stały sąd polubowny (a permanent arbitration court). Information is provided by the Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów (the Polish competition and consumer protection authority, uokik.gov.pl).
7. Reporting illegal content
7.1. Booking sites contain content published by Rental Companies. If you believe that some content is unlawful, report it at privacy@onerental.app – give the address of the page, a description of the content and your reasons. This mechanism implements Article 16 of Regulation 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act).
7.2. We confirm the report promptly and consider it without undue delay, in a non-arbitrary and objective manner. We inform the person who made the report and the Rental Company of the decision and the reasons for it, pointing out the possibility of appealing to the same address.
7.3. If content breaches the law or our Terms of Service, we may remove it, block access to it, or limit the visibility of the booking site.
7.4. Point of contact for users and authorities within the meaning of Articles 11–12 of the Digital Services Act: privacy@onerental.app. The languages of contact are Polish and English.
8. Personal data
8.1. The controller of the data given in a reservation is the Rental Company. You will find its privacy notice on the booking site or receive it from the Rental Company on request. Requests for access to, rectification of and erasure of rental data go to the Rental Company.
8.2. OneRental processes that data as a processor, on the Rental Company's instructions – the rules are described in the Data Processing Agreement.
8.3. We are the controller of the data of your login account and of the technical data of the site – details in the Privacy Policy. The rules on cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.
9. Liability
9.1. We are responsible for the correct operation of the functions we make available. We are not responsible for the content of the offer, the availability of the vehicle, the prices or the performance of the rental agreement – in that respect liability rests with the Rental Company.
9.2. Towards consumers we do not limit our liability to the extent that the law does not allow it.
9.3. We may temporarily restrict access to the site in connection with maintenance work or a security threat, giving notice in advance where possible.
10. Changes to the Terms
We announce a change to the Terms by publishing the new version 14 days in advance, and we notify users who have an account – additionally by e-mail. Reservations placed before the change are governed by the version in force at the time of the reservation.
11. Governing law
The Terms are governed by Polish law. The choice of law does not deprive a consumer of the protection resulting from the mandatory provisions of the state of their habitual residence. Disputes are settled by the court having jurisdiction under the general rules.
